This thing definitely needs a bit more power at my altitude (4500 feet), hovers were great but did not have a lot of pull out power.
I would watch out for the horizontal stab as I noticed mine had come completely loose when I was cleaning it after flying.
What size prop did you use? I'm putting the 50sx in mine too, and the manual said they used a 14X6 apc. That seems a bit much for this engine... I only use a 13X6 apc on my CAP with an OS 70 4 stroke. I'd hate to burn up a new engine.
I noticed that there wasn't much gluing surface when I bonded the stab today. Maybe I can get some epoxy covered tri-stock through the el servo holes. Thanks for the heads up.
