I know what you re:- price c/f tubes [&:] I wouldnt be game to go with a single layer 3/32 but then I am not much into the design/stress parameters either, I build by feel. Jusrt a thought, I would be very selective about the sheeting used around the wing saddle, and use the tightest grained there, but then I guess you're on top of that too.
As I hav mentioned earlier I want to build a sunderland m3, and I have actually locted a set of blueprints, but for $320US hmmm got to be easier than working of old drawings etc as for douing my working drawings, they will be done the old fashioned way, I havent much of a clue using my puter, just muddling through on the net is all [sm=confused.gif]
