RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
What servos is everyone using on the .46 size? I did some cross referencing in the manuals for the .46 size and the .60 size u can do and the results are kind of interesting.
They tell you to use the same torque servos in both airplanes. In the larger one they list hobbico servos, in the small they list Futaba digitals.
.60 size servos total $170.94 from tower, combined weight 10.78 oz
.46 size servos total $534.90 from tower, combined weight 11.04 oz
does the .46 size really need 50 oz in + servos on the elevators? how bout 90+ oz in on the rudder? this is after all a <6 lb plane isnt it?
