The boat is a double bottom construction. All wood is 1/8" Birch. Inside flor & deck stiffeners are cut from light & cheap 2 x 4 scrap. Seats & steering is from a old lawn mower. Trolling motor is mounted in a rear well box. Cut hand control & cables of motor off & mounted it next to the steering wheel of driver. Battery & the RC remote controlling of the power in the boat is under the front deck. Adult on the beach can shut off all power if things go bad with the hand held RC transmitter.
