Turbine powered jets are still slower than what is being flown in dynamic soaring. DS sailplanes are hitting 370 MPH and they don't require a waiver to fly!
WRONG- I believe erbroens and his buds in Brazil have proven that our turbine jets can go over 400mph without much modifying.
