Herrsavage, the price here too went up with the introduction of the euro.
However not due to the euro itself, as in reality everything was meant to be converted so that there is no gain or loss.
1 Cyprus pound was 1.71 euros, so everything should have been converted by 1.71, however what so many shopowners etc did was just double the prices... so the people pay more now... greedy shopowners!
