Why does England not use the Euro?
Always gotta be different... using stupid miles and yards instead of km and meters... gallons rather than litres...
What is this?
Plus the accent is horrible
LOL, funny read.

Well, UK has undergone metrification, they no longer use teh British Imperial system (inches, pound forces, pound masses, gallons), they have effectively also converted to the grand old measument system of Napoleon Bonaparte (or at the very least the French revolution), the great metric system of SI (System Internationale, any Francophones, please tell me how to spell that correctly).

Now in line with why engine costs are different and being manipulated, lets look at why teh UK uses Pounds over Euros. At teh time of introduction of teh Euro, teh UK Pound was relatively strong. Even today, teh Pound is still a powerful monetary denomination. So that is why they still use it. And in the European mainland, still see some German folks using Deutchmarks every now and then even though everything is effectively Euros.

Now this manipulation of costs for nitro engins becuase of differing monetary exchange rates is absolutely nothing new. It has always been there and that is how RC distributors and wholesalers go aound making their profits. Instead of doing direct monetary trade and exchange to make profits, they bypass teh exchange fees by doing it through RC products. (Actually, this monetary/goods exchange game applies to ALL goods, not just RCs and nitro engines.)
