I think you would be fine, the only thing I would recommend is that you get a qualified pilot to maiden the plane and set the trim on it's first flight.

You already have the control issues handled so the only area you would need help would be the takeoff's and landings, bringing in larger planes is quite a bit different than the small foamies that you belly land.

As for general flying around the plane should be no problem with your Stryker experience.
