Yes coxial is always a good choice for beginner. Yes there are upgraded lipo batteries available but if you get a battery with larger size then you might not able to fit the battery into the compartment. If you are can make your own modification then go ahead and get a bigger battery otherwise stay with the stock battery. Get a few spare on the side so you can have more flight time.
