Thanks for the sketch. Yea, I kind of envisioned your radio install when you told me it was close to the plans.
So, do you rotate your tank to get it on its side when pulling it out in order to pass the throttle servo rails? In the absence of those, there's plenty of space to pull the tank back. My issue is that I have a servo tray which I thought would make life easy for me - two rails and I'm done. But I didn't think about the tank.
I'll see if I can jerry rig side mounted rails for the front part of the tray. Actually I just had an idea. [sm=50_50.gif]
I don't really need screws in the front if I make two thin (1/8 inch) rails on each side into which the tray slides in from the back. This will hold the tray from vertical movement. In the back, the tray is anchored with a standard rail and two screws... I think I'll try that!
I might need another brace across the fuse as far forward as possible to give it some rigidity. There are no formers here and it tends to flex!
