Hi, I`ve been flying the Deuces Wild for a few months now. I chose the E-flite power 25 option, as I already have lots of 3`s lipo packs. The performance is very good. The grass is a bit long where I fly so I use flaps for takeoffs only.... it seems to float in for landings without flaps. Reading your review, I also found that the main retracts were making a indent on the skin of the wing when retracted and so I had to cut off a small amount . I also fitted airline reducers too to slow them down.
The fairings can also cause the main gear to snag if the adhesive loosens, as this happened to me in flight....it had turned slightly preventing the right leg from dropping. Ended well though.
I`m currently working on fitting a servo driven hatch to cover the huge front gear bay....has anyone got any suggestions? any thoughts would be appreciated.
