Do not use the same battery for ignition and reciever, you will have radio problems. Use the 26cc if you want a sport, IMAC, dabble in 3-D plane. If you want unlimited 3-D capability and the power to weight ratio of most 30% planes, use the 40cc.

I have a BLING 3D with a DL 50 and SEVEN digital high torq servos and one standard
TME smoke system, Futuba 2.4 receiver, and ONE A123 2300ma battery for ALL.... Guess What: it works
It uses 180 ma per 11min flight.. Can safetly fly 5 flights on a charge...
A year ago when I built the plane I had FOUR batteries in it and all I did between flights
is check and charge batteries.....
A123 are the ONLY way to go at least on 2.4... NO regulator needed....
Now on 142 flights and flying today...
