Bill, (and others),
Your muffler looks somewhat similar to the header pipe Bob Bennett makes, except yours might actually do some "muffling". Bob's is just what he says it is, a "header pipe" and there's no muffling at all................it's quite loud. However it is small and compact with a single pipe and the only cowl cutting normally required is a hole for the pipe. If noise is not a major issue it might be an acceptable alternative.
