Hey mother, just find a lighter spring. Some hardware stores stock various springs with their nut and bolt stuff. I have a coffee jar full of springs I save from broken kids toys. You never know . . .

To install a lighter spring I believe you have to take the throttle arm off along with the throttle plate. You don't want to do that when all you have to do is unclip the spring and leave it where it is. Your choice of course.
