yup... scammers all of them. I fell for this once years ago...... it seems like easy peasy at first, but then after you give them your e-mail adress (so they can sell it to spammers) your home adress, and you sign up for an AOL trial, magazine subscriptions, etc etc, they want to to sign up for something with a 2 year contract, like direct tv or something like that, where the cancelation fee is more than the thing you may or may not have gotten is worth..... (thats where I hit "close".... then had to go through the trouble of canceling AOL and the other crap I agreed too.. then ended up having to change my email address due to spam...)
