Just for fun last night I did a google image search on all types of aerobatic, airshow, and competition planes and could not find a single image of a pilot wearing a full face crash helmet. Military style open face helmets, yes. But full face, no.

Maybe I just didn't look hard enough. But the helmet looks good anyway.
