Stick, Your against the memberships dues subsidizing the PPP. How do you feel about the memberships dues subsidizing Model Aviation? The magazine has cost us a heck of a lot more than PPP over the years. At least the PPP has brought in a few new members. Mike
The only thing about MA is that a periodic report is required to maintain the position with the IRS. True, we could receive a typed report on membership, and finances, but the AMA chose to go with a monthly periodical several years ago. I don't read it, and in fact, I normally toss it when it arrives (based on what is on the cover). Personally, I would love for them to stop sending it to me, and just send me an annual report. If they stopped, I would not ask for a discounted membership. The 58 bucks is fine, but I would just as soon not get the magazine. I like to read more than a couple of pages on what is interesting to me. I don't get it there. Just my opinion, but you asked for it.
