What do you guys think is the best gearing?

15/49
15/52
14/49
14/52?

Which will left the front wheels off the ground with the .18TZ? Also, what grease do you guys use in your diffs?

Mambas suck! So much weight in one wheel, Im going back to the Dirt hawgs. Waiting on some parts for mine, 18tz really puts some strain on the drive train, also picked up a Savage X on the weekend so I have been running it in while the MT2 is out of service.
I run a 15/47 and have no problems picking my front wheels off the ground with my TZ so any of the above will do so. Yep heavy tires and or wheels will slow you down as rotating weight is a BIG HP eater. I have a Savage that I use to race and I am doing a lot of race up grades getting ready to put it back on the track. I just ordered a Picco 28 P3 for it. I have WAY to much money in my Savage.[X(]
Very nice savage. I love mine, weather has been a bit iffy so I have slowed on the run in process but hell the wheelies it pulls are sick. I only have the X 3.5, it's a fairly new model of the savage, its a F3.5 in a 4.6 platform so it has all the X upgrades. $300 bucks cheaper so soon after christmas I'll drop a Picco P3 .28 in there and put some dirt tyres as the stock ones a weighty. The drive train ok to handle the .28 Picco power? Many upgrades to handle it?
