Hi Dave, low speed needle valve is 3 1/4 turns out from closed, high speed needle valve is 1 turn out from closed, and I just threw out my after run oil. I hope it didn't ruin anything, I wish I knew earlier!! How will I know? I haven't adjusted the regulator, still factory set. I'm not sure I know what you mean by how it dies, the motor just winds down from 2500 until it stops, takes about a minute. this is a new problem today before it would run all day at 2300. This is why I thought I had a bad plug.
