Anyway, most people run 13.5's in SS as 10.5 arent allowed anymore. There isnt much difference in performance between brushed/brushless if you cut the comm and replace brushes every 5 runs but with brushless all you have to do is oil it every run and take it apart after every race day. My modded co27 keeps up with the brushless/lipo cars on the stright but I get be at in accelration and agility because they have lighter cars even though they add weight.
