So ThunderbirdJunkie scored a set of Hellfire SS shocks on fleabay (SCHWAYT!)
However, he is stuck with some ultra-"Pat" From SNL-esque purple shock caps on his otherwise pimp-tastic Savage[:@]
Are the RTR Hellfire's shock caps aluminum, just black ano'd, or are they a plastic cap?
ThunderbirdJunkie would far rather buy the RTR ones, if they're aluminum, rather than strip the lame (albeit very nicely done) purple anodizing from the HF shock caps
Not sure but the caps on the HPI Big Bores are plastic. Being the Hellfire and Savage BB are very similar and use some of the same parts I would say the plastic.
