I agree with Z and W. Up front the blue ray cost less then the EXI, In the long run the Blue ray will cost you as much or more then the EXI will now.

So what it comes down to is: Are you going to stick with it through all of the crashes? and how much can you spend now?

If you don't have the cash now, or not sure if you will stick with it, buy the Blue ray.

If you think your going to stick with it for the long run and cash up front (twice $ of the blue ray) is not an issue then go with the EXI.
