Default RE: tower trainer 60

I re-entered the hobby this past Spring after many years away Can't imagine a better trainer than the Hobbico Hobbistar 60 ARF I went with. Although I stayed with the tricycle gear it would have been possible to make it a taildragger since you can access inside the fuse before gluing down the tailfeathers. Very easy to see stable flyer with a semi-symetrical wing. I also used a Magnum 91 four-stroke that seemed like a match made in heaven.

If the Tower Trainer 60 is anything like it you'll be quite pleased. As was said before you'll want the mains very close to the leading edge of the wing but you'll balance the CG at the same point regardless of which gear configuration you select.

Regards,

Clay
