Default 6 yr. old son fly's rc trainer

Not to interupt this pleasant and enjoyable thread, but there are several mentions about TOC and Chip Hyde. I am reminded of when I was 13 yrs old and playing football. I was forced to go to practice and didn't enjoy the game until I was playing in high school. I'm not sure if it was my dad's dream or not, but he demanded that I play and forced me to practice. I guess Sigmund Freud might say that's why I quit in high school and passed up scholarships to play at the next level!

My point here is that if a child wants to make TOC then that's terrific! It just upsets me when I see parents use their dreams to guide a childs life. Too many people think that the greatest measure of success is having something to show for it, in this case TOC.

Kjemcee, in no way do I mean that this is your case, I am just making a general argument about my experience and the experiences of others in my shoes. Congratulations to yourself and your son. I wish I could have learned to fly when I was that age.
