The radio and the plane have ailerons but are not used for the novice flier. Look at the instruction manuel on Hobby-Lobby page and you will see the controls are there if you want to install,

The plane will fly fine using the 3 controls, motor, rudder, and elevator, just won't be as aerobatic.
