The confidence will certainly come back. And as Minnflyer mentioned, you'll be a better pilot in the end.

My crashes all seem to have happened when I got OVER confident and pushed the plane beyond my abilities. Like low inverted down the runway before I was ready. Only time I've ever seen a plane cartwheel eight times.
