RE: which conversion do I have?
WAIT A MINUTE. You need to check the receiver you are going to buy to determine single or dual conversion. The transmitter doesn't enter into the equation at all. The single or dual conversion is determined by the receiver, whether it has one or two IF (intermediate frequency) stages. Before buying a Xtal for the receiver, make sure it is compatable with that receiver. Ignore the TX other than the channel and whether it is PPM or PCM. My recomendation is to buy a crystal from the manufacture of your receiver. You may find an aftermarket one for a couple bucks less, but after loosing a plane due to one of these cost recuction decesions, $2 will not replace the loss of plane and equipemnt. Get a Xtal for the receiver you are buying from the same manufacture.
