Yes it is and that is fine, The point is the Tx does not care whether or not you use a single or dual conversion Rx as long as the Rx has the right conversion type crystal for the Rx.

Your Tx will work just dandy with many dual or single conversion Rx's and not neccessarily just JR brand either.
