it is covered beautifully. how did you do it?
david
"covering" is dope and tisue paper over balsa, then priming and painting with Taubmans brand "Fiddley Bits" spraycan enamel. Takes days for the undercoat to go off before you can sand it and days-weeks for the paint to harden properly, but when it does, fuel won't touch it and it doesn't get brittle with age. Can't buy it anymore though so I've no idea what to use on my next build.

Very nice finishing job. I really like the simple color scheme.
This is a funny story. I built this back when I was a high school kid and I flogged the colour scheme from a picture in a magazine of a couple of blokes representing AUS in the world F3A champs, well it turns out my older brother, who has only recently entered the sport and lives on the other side of the country, met and is now mates with the bloke whose colour scheme I pinched 20 years ago and I'll be meeting him at the end of January when I take in a holiday and an IMAC comp.
