Open both valves, start up, close the valves, disconnect.

I wonder if this could be further improved by using a shut off quick disconnect like the one we use to fill air:

Festo connectors are often a pain to attach / remove. Is there any reason why using an air quick disconnect would be a bad idea? Can you guys think of a more suitable quick disconnect?
