Yep, it is DSM and the AR6000 is the only rcvr that works with it. The only thing it doesn't have over the DSM2 is the Model Match. where, if you have the wrong model programmed, it will still respond. Not a big deal,72 meg radios and 2.4 Futabas do that too.

I still have my DX6 as backup in case I have to send in the DX7 for repairs and wouldn's sell it at all, as many of the ones programmed in the 7 are also in the 6 and only need to be bound to fly on the 6.
It is a full range radio too.
