@ Pupmeister... I think that the 8911 is just a metal cased version of the 8711? I only bought them as I thought they were top of the range, and had a friend in Japan visit in July, so he brought them with him. But, I agree that they are an overkill, and that 8425's all round would have been plenty. But, hey ho, thats the way it goes!

Chuck... I guess you mean a pack of two A123 batteries (6.6v)? Impressive that you can run everything from that!!! Reassuring too. As for the Sukhoi... I think this is just about the sexiest thing out there!!! I also have an EF 88.5" Extra in the garage that will be ready soon (also powered by 3W 56i B2 twin), but I much prefer the Sukhoi! I have to say that the Sukhoi has big boots to fill, as I absolutely loved my V2 Edge... simply amazing plane, and the only reason I crashed it so often, is that it was soooo much fun, and such a confidence builder that I kept pushing it too hard doing silly things!!! I am planning to maiden the Sukhoi by Thursday! As for the wing rock... High alpha (harrier) flight is my fave thing, and I am guessing that it will be ok, even with the rear stab position.
