fox222, I understand exactly what you are saying. The pinion gears look like they are all the same size but they are not. The rs4 2 uses the same gears as the rs4 3 along with the super nitro rs4. They all use the same gearing and the spur gears come with the manual page you have posted. The gears are 48pitch which means the gears have 48 teeth per inch in diameter. If you try to mesh 48 pitch spurs with 64 pitch pinion gears, they will not mesh properly. If you mesh 48 pitch pinions with 48 pitch spurs (like the rs4 versions), you will have perfect mesh. 64 pitch has finer and smaller teeth while 48 pitch has thicker teeth. So, as you can see, you can't have same size pinions with different teeth amount. 64 pitch gearing are used on cars such as tc3, r40, etc. Hope this clears the gearing thing.

The KAWAHARA tires will bolt right onto your stock wheel adapters. The 220mm body will hide the tires. Call Kamikazetoysandhobbies.com first because they have a combo which includes the body along with the full wheel set. They know the wheels will pop out so they made a body to work with it.

Brent Davis, I haven't been doing much besides throwing in an Orion .21 onroad CRF REV in my rs4. The rs4 comes with aluminum or steel diffs so it works fine. The spur gear is plastic so that was the issue. However, I solved the gear stripping problems with my rs4. The problem was due to chassis flex so I bought a 4.5mm chassis from team blue star and it solved my problem. Now, my car runs strong. I can't get any videos because I am the only person who enjoys rc car in my family. Can't get anybody to video tape it for me. I will post pics of my rs4 with the new engine later on. I will definitely join you guys in the other forum as well.
