Thanks for the responses Pupmeister, and Chuck... just what I needed to hear, and will enable to save a little weight. I have given my Edge V2 to a fellow flyer (young, and very talented, but no money!), so he will resurrect it (new rudder, and repair LG mount again) and get her in the air again. The Edge, was my fourth WH (had two 84" Extras, killed both), and simply incredible, and incredibly tough... so the Sukhoi has some big expectations to live up to!!! If she doesn't, I will go out and buy another V2 Edge, as to date, it's simply the nicest plane I've flown! I also have an EF 88.5" Extra that will be finished soon, so i will be interesting how they compare. Some of my fellow flyers seem to think the EF one will be better, but frankly, I am hedging my bets on the Sukhoi, which is why I am now so desperate to get her airbourne! Hopefully, News Year's Day will be maiden day!
