The 11 tooth with the stock motor will work great if you're just starting out. I'm running a 13 with a Scorpion motor now but I ran the 11 with the stock motor and then put the 13 on after about 6 months. Like I said, the 11 will give you longer flight times and you still have good head speed and tail authority. It's just my opinion but I wanted longer flight times in the beginning and when you're still just learning upright hover and forward flight I don't think you rally need 3000 rpm head speed. Also, I don't think you can compare your 450's head speed with a Raptor 30. Small helis use really high head speeds compared to large helis. For example, my 450 runs between 3000 and 3200 whileI have heard of others running over 3400 rpm. My 600nitro Pro runs around 2100 max. If you tried to run a 450 at that low a head speed I think you would have problems.
