Happy New Year! Well, I did not get what I wanted for Christmas so I called Santa - who drives for UPS in the off season, and ordered my Top Flite AT-6. It arrived Tuesday and I must say that it is a very nice ARF - especially for $229 after all my Tower discounts. I am finishing up a Dazzler berfore I can get serious about building the AT-6, but I decided to check it out and the workmanship looks very good. The only exception to that is the covering on the control surfaces. The wrinkles were so bad I had to strip and recover one of the outboard flaps and now I need to buy a whole roll of Missile Red Monokote for a 6" x 6" trim piece! I decided to get the covering all ironed out while I have a couple of days off from work so that I can jump right into building when I get to it. That being said, I am very pleased with this plane and I can't wait to get started. I hope to have it ready for Spring.
