RE: *Seagull Extra 260 90 ARF*
I just finished mine this evening . Installed a ASP 1.20 fs.and was a little concerned with the extra weight. By careful placement of battery and electronics was able to keep final weight at 8lbs 15oz. Also using7.5 cm at the wing tip for a CG starting point.
Was unsure of using the ASP 1.20 , this well be the first I `ve used it . Bench ran it with a 15x6 and seems to have lots of umph . I do like 3D as well as pattern , not big on hovering , but like inverted harriers and want to be able to pull out of a tight spot , if needed. Does anyone have a Magnum or ASP 1.20 fs on one of these ?
Generally I build kits . But at a $179.00 , cannot build it as cheap and it`s a decent ARF . And they really used glue on it . Liked the 260 so much , I ordered the 540 Edge .60 , should be here Monday .
On the 260 I used JR821`s digitals on everything but the throttle , which is a stardard BB servo .and 1650 ma. 6 v. battery . Will 88oz. torqe on the rudder be enough ?
