Hi guys,
A little bit more done on the cap. Has been pretty hot here the last few days, though, so the garage has been a no-go zone during the daylight hours.[

] Temperature was around 38C yesterday and today (approx. 100F). Is forecast to be the same tomorrow!
A little progress, though. I have decided to mount the tank near the CG. It is a little forward, but only just. I will have to deal with fuel draw issues if and as they arise. I have also mounted the throttle servo, on top of the engine box. I had originally envisaged this plate being on top of the box, with the servo mounted on top of the plate. Unfortunately the servo arm fouled with the cowl, and so I had to mount both the plate and servo underneath. My only concern now is that some fuel splatter may pool in this area. Again, will deal with this problem if an when it arises.
Also, I am not sure if it was the heat in the garage, or maybe my overzealous use of the heat gun, but it seems that several formers in the rear of the fuselage have collapsed. Probably a combination of both. This model is built a little too light, I think. I will try to prop up the formers with balsa sticks and see if this helps.
