Personally i prefer nimmh cells to nicads as they have no memory so you can just top them up before you run with no need to cycle them or run then down first.Also be sure you use a failsafe in your boat in case you do lose signal and set it so it kills the motor,i set the throttle so i can kill it via the radio manualy also.
