RE: Suggestions for L-4 Cub motor
Go with an electric motor! I have the H9 Cub with an Eflight Power 60 in it and it will go straight up. You could go with a power 46, but it's nice to have lots of power for getting out of trouble. I can fly about 20 minutes on one battery and you can't see anything sticking out of the cowling.
