Default RE: Warning to "Beginners"...

Let me see, 6+ years ago a freind and coworker got me to buy a nitro truck.. Played with that a little while, broke it a lot.. He brings his Electric heli to work one night.. Gee thats neat I think what it cost. He tells me I fall over..

Then he tells me about planes, his first love. I go to the local hobby store several times. After meeting his father, also my first instructor I go to the hobby store one day shortly after Ive gotten my tax refund, wife in tow. "I just want to look honey." She sees me drooling, and asks the proprieter offhand what I would need to get started. They set me up with a Hangar 9 Arrow, RTF and the feild gear to begin.

One failed attempt and a 3 year hiatus later I go to the local club and get bit HARD.. 1st investment, around $400 by the time I was done. Second go around I'm on here whimpering that it cant be that expensive, (and it wouldnt be if i could just stop needing that one more item!) A good fellow from here and from Spadworld sends me some corro, Im flying by now.. well Ive just about $1000 invested now, total and am already planning tax time spending for hose just have to have components for more SPADS.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself.... Hi my name is Terry and I am addicted to RC planes, my particular weakness is SPADS.. Can you help me?
