Default RE: CMP BF109F BUILDING THREAD

For me the question is:

Flight characteristics should not be on "how the model" will fly", but "have I flown enough of a variety of models to stay calm and fly a model such as this ?"

It comes down to basics, CG, airspeed, early lift off, high angle of attack at take off, hanging on the up elevator on approach, ect........ And Experience.

We have all seen stop signs fly and even Snoopy's dog house.

Anxiety can play a bigger roll in a flight than the models design sometimes. A good example of anxiety was my youtube landing. The model was not at fault, my thumb was.

This is why I have not assembled my complete with all parts (Wren 54, Scale Gear, ect) Yellow F-16 Turbine yet. I would be saddened by the fireball at impact.

But life gets shorter everyday, so soon enough its got to fly.
