Default RE: Element Composite 170

Just got back from flying it Bill. 65 degrees, sunny, no wind. Perfect for trimming. Still working on cg a little. Today I tried it in various locations. I'm more forward than what I have heard is a good starting point. But I did move it back some today. And I liked the result. I think I am around 6" from the leading edge right now. It went to 5" before the knifes were straight. I'm thinking that is too far forward. My upline now is good, and I have a slight pull to the canopy in downlines. Slight pull to the gear now in knife. This is with the cg I tried today. To achieve what I want, I would need more positive incidence. Not so easy to do on a 1 piece wing plane. I have probably 40 flights on it now.
