Default RE: 2 questions and opinions?

I just finished a Nitro Models Bobcat..pusher prop on a jet airframe...looks lika BVM King Cat... I won the model as a door prize so I can't gripe,
My impression of the kit isn't so great...instructions were terrible..no words to speak of just a series of pictures...fiberglass fuselage with ply ribs inside seems to be glued in solid...however the hatch on the bottom of the fuse didn't fit well....I wouldn't use the supplied pushrods...too much slop in the threads allowing the clevises to flop around on the end of the pushrod....
the engine mounting blocks were balsa!!!!!!there was no mention of thrust lines or thrust angle....the gear seemed to be "soft".
I know this airframe needs to be lateral balanced..no mention of that either...the hardware package was medicore at best
I haven't maidened the airplane as of yet...the weather here has been windy...perfer to maiden a new airplane when its calm...I think it'll be ok
As this is the beginners forum the do you know how to fly? all of the airplanes you mentioned would not a good trainer make..
Good Luck with the airplane
