have you any drawings to explain your statement regarding 'tangential' loads?


I ask because from my minds eye, if the pushrod is at a tangent in the neutral state, as a deflection is made the pushrod angle is reduced to the output arm ball link and therefore becomes neutral so should not cause the output arm to be in a stressd state [sm=confused_smile.gif] plus, the output arm has a ball link which has reduced (if any at all) friction and the surface output horn has a ball link, again, reduced or (if any at all) friction.

I have used the ball link/bearing output horn design for years and never encountered such problems, maybe it's the JR output arms I've been using all this time eh [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
