RE: 2 questions and opinions?
I bought one NitroModels plane - a $59 Piper Cub, and was really impressed by the quality for the price, but like others have said, it's a roll of the dice.
I would like to offer you some general advice, based on reading many of your threads. I understand that you are trying to buy as many planes as you possibly can because right now you can afford them, and you are afraid that you might not in a few months. My advice is to take that extra money that you are trying to spend, and put it in a coffee can. I can almost guarantee that you are going to buy a plane (or three) that you will end up regretting.
If you squirell away the money until you are really ready for another plane, then you will have a much better idea of exactly which plane you will want to fly at that time.
And, God forbid, you run into financial trouble in a few months, you are going to be kicking yourself in the butt for blowing all of your money on planes. You will not be able to recover your investment by selling anything on the used market.
And thirdly, if you save your cash, the economy stays bad, but you are in good shape, there will be many more unbelievable deals that you will be able to make.
I appreciate your enthusiasm in entering this great hobby, but I seriously suggest that you take a deep breath and rethink some purchases.
Good luck
