Jim we use butchers wax, its a very old floor wax but it has a high bee wax content. I like to soften it up with a torch, just place the flame on the wax and it melts. take a clean rag and dip it into the now liquid wax, move quick because it will go back to a paste. Apply a good amount and DONT wipe off the excess. It cheep, work great and you can polish your hardwood floors with the rest
