Default 63 FZ Idle problems?

Can anyone help with this problem I am having with my second 63:
Prop 14*4 w 10500 rpm peak, O.S. f type plug, Wildcat 30% heli fuel(18% Oil?).
Approx 1.5 gallon run time. approx 1.5 turns out main needle 1 turn out idle needle

I just dont seem to be able to get a very reliable low tickover I tacho it at 2000rpm in normal attitude where it will hold steady, transition to full fine and acheive full power very easily.
However when running at 2000 if I hold the plane vertical up it leans and dies within 10seconds if I hold it nose down it clogs up and dies again within 10 seconds, the motor is mounted at around 7 O'Clock and if I rotate the plane to inverted during tick over again the running is rough but it dos'nt die. There is fuel coming out of the carb opening when the motor is not running, the one way check valve is holding pressure very well. Valves have been checked and adjusted.
My first 63 did run perfect straight out of the box no need to touch the idle needle at all however I was running the Model Technics Yamada 20/20 fuel which I plan to revert back to as soon as I can get some....
I am not confident to use this motor for long periods at tickover ie Harriers etc because it does seem to cut far to easily compared to my first. I have tried many different idle needle positions all of which has resulted in uneven tick over and dead stick landings.
It is presently installed in a Global freestyle with a similar installation to the review http://www.rcuniverse.com/reviews.ph...w&reviewid=86.

Am I expecting to much and are these tests a little to extreme?
Does the regulator have any effect on the idle running?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
