I'll ditto what they said above about getting a trainer plane. My personal recomendation would be a Hobbyzone Super Cub. But since you already have the p-47, you might try hand launching it and see if you have more success that way. Just don't pull back on the stick too much, let it climb at a very slow rate if it will.
