Take a piece of carbon tubing or brass tubing (from LHS) and cut it down the middle with a dremmel tool. Make it look like the letter "C".
It should be about 3" long. Use this as a splint and use 5min Epoxy to splint the two pieces back together. The Tubing should be about the same size or slightly larger. Adjust the cut opening until it "snaps" on the original tube boom. Make sure to dry fit first.
You may need to cut more (sown the middle" to get it to go on. Then take it off and epoxy on.
I've done this on every AB3 or XTreme that I fly - prior to my first flight. Works like a charm and is very strong
